[UPDATE: According to Tinder's VP of Communications & Brand Partnerships Rosette Pambakian, the bug has been fixed. According to her, users still having issues should log out of the app and log back in to reclaim all their matches.]
A good number of – but notably not all – Tinder users are reporting losing all matches from their accounts after today's Facebook outage.

Everyone lost their Tinder matches, the contingent of people more upset about that than anything else in the world is impressive.— Jesse Denis (@ThatJesseDenis) September 3, 2014
The Facebook outage took place during the 3:30 to 4 p.m. half-hour. During that time, Tinder users could not access their accounts, as the app requires a Facebook login to use. When the app was rebooted, however, some users reported that their messages and matches had been erased.
@kevinpokeeffe wait I still have mine but tbh I'm kind of jealous of all of you who were just blessed with a clean slate— Nicolas DiDomizio (@ctnicolas) September 3, 2014
However, several users did not lose their matches or messages. Some of those users, though – like The Wire's Polly Mosendz – reported experiencing other issues, like a lack of new matches shown. She also did some quick math to calculate what else was lost during the downtime; specifically Facebook ad revenue.
