Sure John McCain might be stumping for Mitt Romney but that doesn't mean he likes the guy's tactics. The onetime GOP presidential candidate tells The Boston Herald:
This is like watching a Greek tragedy ... It’s the negative campaigning and the increasingly personal attacks ... it should have stopped long ago. Any utility from the debates has been exhausted, and now it’s just exchanging cheap shots and personal shots followed by super PAC attacks.
Of course, McCain goes on to reiterate his support for Romney and his hope that he emerges victorious and unscathed enough to win a general election. But he's leaving unsaid the fact that Mitt Romney has taken the brunt of criticism for his Super PAC's effective attacks on his rivals.
