President Barack Obama's campaign tweeted out a link to barackobama.tumblr.com, Obama's election Tumblr, a few minutes ago. The site isn't exactly the fun single serving Tumbleblog the Internet loves, but while Republicans are getting the hang of Twitter, Obama's innovating. The site's welcome post explains what exactly the Tumblr is all about. "We’re looking at this as an opportunity to create something that’s not just ours, but yours, too," writes the anonymous Obama campaigner. "We’d like this Tumblr to be a huge collaborative storytelling effort—a place for people across the country to share what’s going on in our respective corners of it and how we’re getting involved in this campaign to keep making it better." Obama won the digital war in 2008. But the Republican party has stepped up its game for 2012, at least according to The New York Times's Jennifer Steinhauer. "Now, after a post-election order from Speaker John A. Just as the GOP is gaining Twitter steam, Obama ups his Internet game. Perhaps it will help him win back that young-kids vote
