The National Republican Senatorial Committee released its parody ad, mocking President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign, just three days before Obama's real video came out. Yet, as Politico's Ben Smith points out today, nearly 500,000 more viewers have seen the parody than the real deal.

The NRSC is "dedicated to electing Republicans to the U.S. Senate," but took it upon itself to create the ad,  juxtaposing the president's campaign promises with images of him vacationing, filling out an NCAA tournament bracket, and dancing on stage with Paul McCartney. This video below, which concludes with Obama riding a unicorn over a rainbow, claims 668,080 viewers as of this afternoon.

Obama's actual campaign launch effort, which doesn't feature the president at all, has only been watched by 183,244 people so far.
