Meet Sexy Ranea Crabtree, the 41-year-old woman from Pataskala, Ohio who walked out of a court today with a brand new, very ridiculous first name.

Sexy, nee Sheila, has always hated her name.

"It's just one of those names that I can't stand. I hate the fact that I have been cursed with it," Sexy told Fox 19. "My mom gave me my middle name of Ranea and my dad gave me my ugly name."

Sexy has gone by her middle name since she was her teenager, but that apparently just wasn't enough. So she decided to change her first name. To Sexy.

"I do wear a lot of Victoria's Secret clothes and my husband calls me sexy all the time," Sexy told Fox 19. "I really want to do Sexy because it's kinda like my personality. I just love to be adventurous, have fun and do all kinds of things."

There were concerns that the judge would not allow the change -- he had turned down Tasmanian Devil and Winnie Pooh in the past, the Columbus Dispatch said, as well as:

The request of a woman who rode a horse to the courthouse and walked in wearing a bathrobe. She said something about conducting the Last Supper and poisoning her husband afterward. She wanted to be known as Jesus Christ Lord & Savior.

Sexy did not wear a bathrobe to court. According to the Dispatch, she showed up in a "summery dress splashed with bursts of orange and yellow." The paper did not disclose whether or not said dress was sexy.

When the judge asked her why she was changing her name, she didn't go with the Victoria's Secret thing. Instead she said: "I feel like I'm a free-spirited person, I love to have fun, and this is the last piece to make my life complete."

The judge then asked if her husband and teenage daughters were down with her new name. She claimed that they were. I do not see how it's possible that her children aren't absolutely mortified, but for all I know they are also named "Sexy."

With that, the judge granted Sexy's request. She exhaled and said "Oh, thank god. Thank you so much."

Sexy said that if the judge had denied her request, she was thinking of going with Sparkle or Sinder. No, not Cinder. Sinder.

According to the Social Security Administration, Sheila was the 987th most popular female name for babies born in 2007. Sexy did not make the top 1000.
