As Occupy Wall Street rages on in Zuccotti Park, Goldmann Sachs has told its employees to stay away from the action, reports CNBC's John Carney. He says a source at the bank wrote to him, "I was going to come down to say hello yesterday," but that the bank told him that he shouldn't go to the demonstration "for any reason," in Carney's words. Goldmann Sachs doesn't have an official policy, but one employee told Carney "It feels officially unofficial." Of course, given Goldman's role in the financial crisis and some of the anger towards the bank among the protesters, that's probably sound H.R. advice.
