Following the release of a Wes Anderson-y poster earlier this week, The Grand Budapest Hotel now has a trailer with bright colors, Bill Murray, young love, and Tilda Swinton in old lady makeup—basically everything you could hope for from a Wes Anderson production.
The trailer reveals that we're in for the story of quirky concierge Gustave H, played by Ralph Fiennes, taking a break from playing some of the worst villains ever on screen. Gustave is friends with his "lobby boy," Zero Moustafa, and has a penchant for sleeping with elderly ladies. When one of those ladies, played by a barely recognizable Swinton, is murdered, hijinks begin to ensue.
The whole thing, of course, looks perfectly delightful and delightfully odd—we can't get over aged Swinton—but what else could you want?
A March 7, 2014 release date was announced yesterday.
