Mysterious Press, an imprint of Grove Atlantic, announced Tuesday that it will publish an anthology of short stories by "Sweden’s most distinguished and best-loved crime writers." Among them is Steig Larsson, who wrote the ever-popular Millenium series (which begins with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). The series was published after Larsson's death in 2004.

The content of the story remains unknown, but Grove Atlantic has revealed that Larsson wrote the piece when he was only 17. The New York Times reports that the anthology will be released in February and was edited by a close friend of Larsson's, John-Henri Holmberg.

The Millenium series is one of the most successful book series of all time. David Fincher directed the film version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which was released in 2011 and starred Rooney Mara as computer hacker Lisbeth Sander. So good news for Millenium fans — now you'll get to see what Larsson was thinking about way back when.
