Two days after the Internet became aware of the godawful and actually racist Brad Paisley/LL Cool J collab "Accidental Racist," we've been given the duo's second joint, the love tune "Live for You." It's a romantic mid-tempo jam, with Brad wailing about how no matter where a girl is, he loves her, he does, while LL raps verses like "My heart shines like moonlight on a lake." So... OK.
That's fine! Love songs are perfectly nice and harmless, right? (Unless they are deeply creepy or strangely codependent.) But this wan song is not going to erase the stink of "Accidental Racist," I'm afraid. They need to put out a real barn-burner, some kinda club-thumping hootenanny that will have us saying "Brad Paisley and LL Cool J teamed up!" instead of "Brad Paisley and LL Cool J teamed up?" Sorry, guys. Third time's the charm, maybe?
