An animated M&M was interviewed for three minutes on Fox and Friends this morning, which in retrospect was the perfect amount of time. Any shorter and it would have been possible to write off as an ad that didn't quite make sense. Any longer, and the experience of watching Brian Kilmeade converse with humanoid piece of candy would begin to feel unseemly. But at three minutes, it's a slice of daytime cable heaven. We've now seen Matthew Broderick's Super Bowl Honda ad run side-by-side with clips from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and our criticism from last week stands: They should have cleared the instrumental version of "Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" for the 2012 version of the museum scene.
