Photographer Jose Duarte enjoys making low-fi infographics with what appears to be nothing more than balloons, string, stickers, construction paper and rubber bands. And he's pretty decent at it too. Above, is one of Duarte's "handmade" visualizations comparing the number of .com, .org and .net domains using balloons suspended in a bush. There are plenty more infographics on his Flickr page too. You'll find tidbits like who has the most popular Twitter accounts (planted in a rose garden), amount of spam mail sent each day (sparse, with chalk and construction paper), and which nations have the most internet users (also using balloons).
