As the Wire noted yesterday, Christmas not only inspires pundits to strain for holiday-themed columns, but also criminals to don a white beard instead of a ski mask. The holiday spirit apparently inspires some overreaching from the military as well, with its annual NORAD Santa tracking. (See below.) Jamie Robertson says taxpayers shouldn't worry: there's "practically no cost" to them through the military budget in tracking Santa.
